I really did not like this book. As a parent I couldn’t comprehend having to send my child to some work camp in the desert, I understand that it was just a plain old good story telling, but the thought of those boys digging day after day was too much for me.

HAHAHAHA! Sachar would LOVE this review. It makes me love HOLES all over again
Hah! I guess this is one that requires a child (or an adult willing to suspend disbelief) to appreciate it.
I LOVED the book and the movie! My son and I enjoyed it together!!!
Just found the One Star Reviews page. Awesome idea! And I got Holes right away 🙂 Some people are way to literal to be reading fiction!
I LOVE this series of posts. Holes by Louis Sachar? I haven’t it yet but it’s on my pile.
Loved the book and the movie. The library kids love it too! Holes!
