One Star Review Guess Who

Can you guess the classic children’s book by its scathing one-star review on Goodreads or Amazon?

I found this to be the singular most irritating gift upon graduation day…and while I like [Author] okay and all, I don’t necessarily find wisdom in his rhymes upon graduating from college. When [Author] can find me a job, then I’ll appreciate the gift.

Frankly, I’m with the reviewer on this one. He/she has every right to say he/she needs a job more than a book of homilies:) I’ve always (since publication) found this particular Seuss sappy. And not classic Seuss at all ( for that I’d go for The Cat in the Hat, The Grinch, and quite a few others). Sorry, Seussians!

I agree with Monica. We should just start giving jobs away as graduation gifts. Think what that would do to the unemployment rate!

Agreed, but O that book kept an independent bookstore going through the lean month of June.

Whenever I look at the Indie bestsellers in spring, this book is at or near the top – every year! So I believe you, rams
