I could not agree with you more. For years, Heavy Medal and Colby Sharp’s Favorite Books are two main resources that guide the books I choose to read. I have no training or expertise in evaluation so I rely on the recommendations of those I believe do. At age 79 I have reached a point of selfishness. We all are aware that our world yearly publishes far too many books even for a person retired and totally in control of how to spend time. My love of middle grade realistic fiction brings hours and hours of personal joy. Thank you for highlighting Heavy Medal today. The contributors to this resource mean the world to me!
