The 2024 Ninja Report: Bleak

Trends come and go. One day ninjas are in the zeitgeist, the next they’ve silently snuck away, leaving only a fluttering curtain and confusion.
As an official ninja book popularity historian I can now say with confidence that 2015 was officially Peak Ninja. This is how 2015 will be remembered for future generations. In 2015 it was weird when a book was published that WASN’T about ninjas. Since then it’s been a steady downward trend.

The recent EPIC (pun intended) rise of the Cat Ninja series has helped the cause, but aside from Cat Ninja and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tie-in books, I’ve only spotted one 2024 ninja-related book:
