What I Learned When I Drew Pictures with Bob Shea
Over the weekend Bob Shea invited me to draw with him on Instagram Live. I was honored, but I also had a problem:
I never draw and talk at the same time.

I’m sort of a unitasker when it comes to drawing (or most things, really). Sure I can listen to music or a podcast or something while I do other stuff, but holding a conversation while making a picture? That sounds tricky.
But I learned that, after drawing and talking for a bit with Bob, it can be fun combination. We ended up talking about all sorts of stuff, and we both ended up with a bunch of pictures.

I have become a drawing while talking supporter. Thanks, Bob.
Bob Shea has an ongoing series where he draws with children’s book illustrators, including Ruth Chan, Laurie Keller, Sergio Ruzzier and more.
