Under a Rock Alert: Dan Santat Books/Plush Characters at Kohls

August 22, 2019 by Travis Jonker   1 comments

There are two reasons you haven’t visited a Kohl’s to pick up Dan Santat’s books and plush characters:

  1. Your current residence is under a rock.
  2. You know about them and have been meaning to get them, but you just needed a reminder that they exist.

And I guess there’s a 3. You don’t live near a Kohl’s.

Allow me to address all of these. If you live under a rock, consider this your official notice that a bunch of Dan Santat’s books (and plush characters from those books) are now available at Kohl’s. They cost $5.00 each and 100% of the profits go toward “support[ing] the health and wellness of families in our communities”.

If you already knew about them and have been meaning to get them, this is your official reminder.

And if you don’t live near a Kohl’s, you can order online here.

I picked mine up a few days ago and they’re on the shelves and ready for the first week of school.

I was so excited when I found out that they were coming that I went straight to the nearest Kohls, only to see that they still had the previous author (I think Oliver Jeffers?) I went to the customer service desk, proceeded to inquire about the Dan Santant stuff, they went and dug them out of boxes for me! So excited! I need to go back for more!
