    @StudioJJK for #3! I know that one!

    This is a great idea – could also do it with students. Sorry to day that I needed the clues for all three.

    Great idea @100scopenotes… I was excited to know #1!
    I’m going to use this with my students for their specialist teacher’s blogs.
    Cheers!

    This is so fun! Extra points if you recognize their pixelated avatar?!

    Got all three of ’em. This probably means I don’t need to spend any additional time on Twitter…

    Good idea! How many points if I know the first one from the picture? Sorry to say 0 points on the other two.

  7. Sara Ralph says

    9 points; I knew them all based on their pictures. This was a fun post!

    “Clue: lives in Brooklyn” oh sure, that’s a great clue! Only about 37,000 authors and illustrators live in Brooklyn! 🙂

    I have one for you: “There’s two kinds of bayonet fighters; the quick and the dead.” Guess who!

    Clue #1: Shy
    Clue #2: Doesn’t act like it.

    I got two out of three! I have to agree with Paula–living in Brooklyn is not a revealing clue! 🙂
