E-reader + plastic baggie = glorious waterproof (the 100 Scope Notes legal team has advised me to downgrade that statement to “highly water-resistant”) summer reading!

The baggie is smarter than my usual style. It seems that glowering in the direction of splashers isn’t the best method of waterproofing.
I’ve done this with my phone! Though I decided against bringing the ereader on the off chance that I might actually want to go in the water and i didn’t want it stolen.
Amazing how well it works!
I use the same ziploc baggie for my Kindle in the bathtub and while walking our old (slow) dog in the rain. It turns out that Jeff Bezos, the founder and head of Amazon, does the same thing, leading me to wonder why he hasn’t thought to sell a product designed specifically for this purpose. A little anti-glare surface on the plastic and a snugger fit would improve the baggie technology a lot!
The bath! Lots of options with the help of ziploc.
I am laughing out loud! So funny that Jeff Bezos uses a plastic bag… wonder if he has thought it through yet!
