I laughed outloud…evidence of growing up with two brothers.
Wow! I didn’t know it was coming out that soon. Me and the girls really enjoyed the first movie – frankly, a lot more than I thought we would.
I completely agree. I guess my expectations for kids book adaptations have been so beaten down (with some exceptions: City of Ember, Coraline) that the first Wimpy Kid was a pleasant surprise. This trailer has me thinking Rodrick Rules might follow suit.
Oh, so funny. I never did see the first one and I actually skipped reading Roderic Rules. Seeing this makes me want to rent the first.
Thanks!

I talked with someone who worked on this new movie who said that it’s better all around then the first (which I enjoyed, by the way). This person had no reason to offer up a loaded opinion, so I take it as genuine… and since it’s someone I trust, probably true. Bold use of poop in the trailer, I must say. That’ll get some laughs!
I didn’t watch the first movie, but I might see this one. Rodrick Rules is my favorite of all the WK books. I’m still having trouble getting used to the real people, though.
