A Day of ALA 2010
How do you prefer your 2010 American Library Association Annual Conference wrap-up? Well, you’ve got two choices here. Today, a video. Tomorrow, words.
Since tomorrow is words, I better stop it with the text and get on to the moving images:

OMG, Travis! I love this. What a fantastic way to capture the day.
(Though I would have included a shot of Mo at the table right next to ours, but maybe that’s because every JumboTron shot I took was exactly over his head. Talk about being his stalker.)

I’m glad to be home, but this video makes me miss all the fun we had. I’m sorry I couldn’t make your program. Next BBYA meeting is July 7th at HL. Hope we can catch up on ALA fun there.

What a GREAT way to capture ALA. (Makes me totally want to go!)

Awesome. Obviously I should have been talking to you about editing video during the banquet. I noticed you filming the program and meant to ask what you intended to do with it.
Travis says
Ha – I figured I’d record a few things and see if it would work out for a video. It was fun to do the recap of the day. Nice to meet you at the banquet by the way – that was fun.

Looks like a fun trip, now I’m thinking I need to go next year.

Love this video! I was at your panel/session on children’s and YA book blogs and thought it was very well done and highly informative (I even enjoyed your “prepared jokes”)! And don’t worry MotherReader–I too was stalking Mo Willems. I actually had three Mo sightings during the conference, one outside the center where he was apparently waiting for his town car to take him back to his hotel. I took a papparazzi pic – http://www.flickr.com/photos/34933959@N02/4740926490/in/set-72157624372908748/ – but then I felt bad. So I yelled “We love you Mo!” and he turned around and waved!
