Jeez, Travis, I have been trying SO HARD to synopsize this book in a way that doesn’t make it sound dire and sad – abandonment by mother! Black Panthers! “Reverse coming-of-age book” – that’s good, but I’m still working on a way to sell it to kids.
Gah! Your Toon reviews are INCREDIBLE! I’ve just added “Get reviewed in comic form” to my list of goals for our new book.
