On Hold @ the Library: December ’09
“But it’s 2010” you say?

“You’re still on break from school, how did you get the picture?”, you ask?
Here is my response to each of these comments:
1. Let’s just not worry about the slightly late posting.
2. In a moment of thinking ahead, I snapped the pictures before winter break began at my schools.
Now, let’s get to the business of gawking at the books that students have put on hold at the K-4th grade school where I work. The following images have not been tampered with in any way. A pretty full shelf this month.
A mix of high-interest (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Bone, Star Wars, World Records), classics (Charlotte’s Web, Sounder, Holes), and the occasional impossible to predict title (Journal of Scott Pendleton Collins).
Look for more On Hold @ the Library next month.

I love this post! It’s so neat to see what the kids are really interested in, not just what they have to read for classes or such. Thanks! Really fun!
