It’s an Honor
I was surprised, honored, and slightly confused to have recently received the Zombie Chicken award from the delightfully opinionated children’s literature blog Underage Reading. Why confused? The blogger who receives this award believes in the Tao of the zombie chicken – excellence, grace and persistence in all situations, even in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. These amazing bloggers regularly produce content so remarkable that their readers would brave a raving pack of zombie chickens just to be able to read their words.
I’m flattered. Thanks to Elizabeth and Emily at Underage Reading.

I mean, it doesn’t change that I’m glad I *don’t* have to brave a pack of zombie chickens to read your blog. Just, you know, I would.
