What’s Selling? The Bestselling Children’s Books of the Week

Paywall, schmaywall – I’m screenshotting the New York Times best selling books of the week so we can talk about them. First up, picture books:

Always a surprise when the #1 bestseller is a book I haven’t seen yet. But now I’ll be on the lookout for MAC & CHEESE. The rest of the list is a bit of a mix of icons (The Cat in the Hat, The Pigeon), bestseller staples (THE WONDERFUL THINGS YOU WILL BE, SEE YOU LATER, ALLIGATOR!, etc.), and starting school books (ON THE FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN, TIME FOR SCHOOL LITTLE BLUE TRUCK).

And now on to middle grade.

Wow – a Who’s Who of familiar faces: Palacio (incredibly STILL at the top of this list), Gratz, Applegate, Riordan, and Korman, with some K-POP Demon Hunters for good measure.
