Top 10 Circulated Fiction of the ’24-’25 School Year
The end of the school year is approaching, and it’s time to take a look at the most checked out books in our K-3rd grade school library this year.
First up is the Fiction section. You’re going to notice a few trends here: illustrations, humor, series.

Some readers might be wondering why Dog Man is in our fiction section and not our graphic novel section. I agree it’s a bit weird, but we really wanted to keep all the Dav Pilkey books (Capt. Underpants, Cat Kid Comic Club, Dog Man, etc.) together on the shelf, rather than having students visit two locations to see what was in. Maybe we’ll change that someday.
So here are the most circulated fiction books of 2024-25:

#10. Timmy Failure (#6): The Cat Stole My Pants by Stephan Pastis

#9. Dog Man (#9): Grime and Punishment by Dav Pilkey

#8. Dory Fantasmagory (#2): The Real True Friend by Abby Hanlon

#7. The Wild Robot Protects by Peter Brown

#6. Dog Man (#11): Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea by Dav Pilkey

#5. The Wild Robot by Peter Brown

#4. Wild Robot Escapes by Peter Brown

#3. Dory Fantasmagory (#6): Can’t Live Without You by Abby Hanlon

#2. Dory Fantasmagory (#5): Tiny Tough by Abby Hanlon

#1. Dog Man (#3): A Tale of Two Kitties by Dav Pilkey
