Nominate Your Favorites for the Anna Dewdney Read-Together Award

Rare is the children’s literature award that allows the public to nominate titles for consideration, so that’s why I took notice when I recently received an email calling for submissions for the Anna Dewdney Read-Together Award.
Anna Dewdney (1965-2016) was most well-known as the author and illustrator of the Llama Llama picture book series. The Anna Dewdney Read-Together Award “is given annually to a picture book that is a superb read-aloud and also sparks compassion, empathy, and connection.” Here’s a list of past winners.
