Coming Soon: GOODNIGHT MOON in Stamp Form

Travis here, keeping you up-to-date on all children’s literature postage stamp happenings. The US Postal Service just announced a set of stamps honoring Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Clement Hurd.

I especially love this selection because Goodnight Moon is one of the most visually distinct picture books of all time. The stamps will be available later in 2025 (no specific date given on the USPS website)

And, side note, if you’re interested in learning more about the book, I highly recommend the latest installment of Looking at Picture Books by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen.
