Books on Film: Watch the ROBOT DREAMS Trailer!

Sara Varon’s graphic novel Robot Dreams is an important book for me: it’s the first book I reviewed on this blog. And it remains one of my favorite comics of all time.
The book was recently adapted for the big screen, made the film festival rounds and was even nominated for a 2023 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

One problem: since the film was a Spanish/French co-production, it’s been difficult to actually watch Robot Dreams in the U.S. But that’s about to change.
The film was released in limited U.S. theaters in May, and will be coming to AppleTV+ after that.
I can’t wait to see it. Here’s the trailer:
