Books on Film: Watch the HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON Trailer?!

File this under “I had no idea this was happening”.
There’s an upcoming live action film adaptation of Crockett Johnson’s classic picture book, Harold and the Purple Crayon. Why did no one tell me? I wonder if the relative success of 2022’s Lyle Lyle Crocodile film (which made just over 100 million at the box office) has opened up doors for more children’s book adaptations.
