Last June I sat down with comedian, actor, and writer Jesús Trejo at the American Library Association Annual Conference. We talked all about his debut picture book Papá’s Magical Water Jug Clock.

That book would go on to receive 2024 Pura Belpré honors for writing and illustration (Eliza Kinkz).
