A bit late to the party here, but I want to share the most recent list of the Best Digital Tools for Teaching and Learning from AASL. Click here to see the list.
What It Is: Each year an AASL committee selects a short list of useful websites and apps for children, with a focus on education.
What’s Good About It: As a school librarian, this is a list I always look forward to. There are always a few resources that are new to me that I end up using with students or adding to our library website.
What’s Bad About It: As the years have passed a lot of educational resources for kids are available as IOS apps only. This is a bummer for students with browser access only.
Last Words: If you’re a school librarian who isn’t looking at this list every year, you’re missing out.
