A JUST ONE FLAKE Preorder Secret

JUST ONE FLAKE, the first book I’ve both written AND illustrated, comes out on October 10th. You can pre-order it here. WARNING: The book is already acting very diva-ish:
This will be my third published book. Each time a book is published, I try to also share something special to give to folks who pre-order through my hometown indie bookstore, McLean & Eakin.

For THE VERY LAST CASTLE, I made a comic.
For BLUE FLOATS AWAY, Grant Snider and I created a behind the scenes book.
For JUST ONE FLAKE? I did something I don’t think anyone has done before – a mini companion book:

Or maybe it should be called a micro companion? It’s eight full-color pages (+ a big reveal) and continues the story from the book: a kid obsessed with catching a snowflake on his tongue.
I’m only making a limited number of these, and you can only get one if you pre-order a signed copy of JUST ONE FLAKE from McLean & Eakin. So . . . uh oh, I’m feeling a button coming on . . .
