That’s the day my pal Minh Lê sent me a Word document with the text of a story he’d been working on. It was titled Real to Me. I thought it was great.
And now, it’s going to be a book! Today, almost eight years later, it is my pleasure to share the cover for Real to Me for the first time.
Written by Minh Lê, illustrated by Raissa Figueroa, designed by Nicole Gastonguay and publishing on May 2nd (Knopf), here is the cover for Real to Me:
