While there, I have some duties:
Friday
9:30-10:45: Nerdy Book Club: Building Strong, Inclusive Reading Communities (Room 340 AB)
11:00-11:30: Signing The Very Last Castle in the Blue Willow (Booth #231)
Sunday
Build Your Stack: 2019 Newbery and Caldecott Predictions (Exhibit Hall)
Mixed in between I’m going attending the Children’s Book Award Luncheon (where Jason Chin will receive the Orbis Pictus Award for Outstanding Nonfiction (Grand Canyon), and Dan Santat will receive the Charlotte Huck Award for Outstanding Fiction (After the Fall)), attempting to play basketball, and dining with some teachers and librarians for an Abrams-hosted dinner.
See you there?
