Books on Film: Tomi Adeyemi on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

I don’t usually cover YA, but when I do, it’s when a YA author appears on The Tonight Show.

Tomi Adeyemi burst onto the scene with The Children of Blood and Bone. It’s a New York Times bestseller and, even more importantly, approved by Usher:
Yeah…yeah…yeah…

Adeyemi was there because her book was chosen as the Tonight Show Summer Reads pick. It was fun to watch. My favorite part was the last bit when she talks about representation in books. Nice work, T.A.!
