I’m back in the Mitten State after watching Kate DiCamillo and Brian Floca collect their Newbery and Caldecott Medals in Las Vegas during the ALA Annual Conference. Good timing, then, for nbcnews.com to run this story about Ms. Dicamillo’s perseverance on the rejection-filled road to publication. A must watch.
