Bestsellers: The New York Times has a Time Machine?
Unless the New York Times has a way of visiting the future, I’m not sure how they can claim an article is published on August 24th when it’s only the 22nd. I’m sure there’s an explanation for this. Until I figure that one out, let’s take a look at children’s bestsellers … from the future!

Best new book (back in December), Gallop! retains the top spot yet again. Another B.N.B., “Madam President”, makes it into the top five at number four. Splat the Cat rounds out the list.
Wimpy Kid is displaced from the top spot by James Patterson’s latest. Quite a feat considering Jeff Kinney’s books have been dominating all year long. Movie tie-in “The Clone Wars” sneaks into the top five.
