Books in Bits
You ever wonder why they shrink candy bars and then call them “fun size“? If you ask me the normal size is pretty fun. Well, the website DailyLit has gone and funsized books. Here’s how it works: you find a book you’d like to read, subscribe to it, and DailyLit will send the text to your inbox or rss reader in installments. I just signed up for The Wind in the Willows, which clocks in at 74 parts. You can adjust how often you receive installments and the time of day they arrive. I prefer anything in fun size form after meals. The site has a modest children’s lit section (20 titles) with some classics just waiting to be devoured a little bit at a time.
