Mordicai Gerstein: 1935-2019
Mordicai Gerstein passed away on September 24th. We have a bunch of his books in our library, and his Caldecott Medal-winning The Man Who Walked Between the Towers is one that I return to again and again for storytime.

I met him at an event in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2008. He was kind and generous with his time. He was one of the greats.
