Add This Event to the Winter Olympics ASAP: Book Curling

It’s been a little bit since I’ve seen a good “using books but not for reading” video on social media. Back in the day, the book domino scene was hot, but that trend eventually cooled.
So I was happy to see that the Albany Public Library is taking part in the Booklympics, where the first event is book curling.

Have you seen people playing Go Fish with James Patterson or Danielle Steel author jacket pictures? Those are funny.
We hosted a Baby Olympics this morning: babies “curling” with mops, bobsledding in laundry baskets and playing hockey with plush snowballs; it was a very well attended event–fun for all–gold medals all around!
