Aaand the method I bring you today: checking out the Mock Newbery and Mock Caldecott lists on Goodreads.
Are these lists (which can be voted on by any Goodreads user) in any way official or, for that matter, accurate? Official, not one bit. Accurate? Sometimes.
More than anything, I see these lists as books to investigate further, and what’s the harm in that?
