Oh, man. I just took Elephant and Piggie to a new afterschool group, introducing a few of them to the series for the first time. When I showed them that Pigeon was hiding in the back of each one, I BLEW ONE CHILD’S LITTLE MIND. Possibly the most satisfying moment of my career thus far.

I’ve been reading Leonardo the Terrible Monster for storytimes and school-age programs in October for YEARS! Just last week one of the kids spotted the pigeon hiding on a page in that story, mind blown! I’m not going to spoil it, but look very closely at the monsters!
