Gallery: These 2013 Picture Books Have Secrets
Here are the 2015 picture books I’ve spotted that sport creative case covers. There are definitely a lot more examples, but I wasn’t smart enough to snap a picture before they got processed and put into my school library. These are great examples of why I believe the art of the picture book is one of the finest gifts we can give young readers. Bravo to the book designers!

What gems! My kids and I always peek under the book covers at the library to try to spy what’s hiding under there. Great surprises.

We actually have had a discussion at our public library about whether or not to keep the book covers and take the time/$$ to cover them. We decided to keep them, but this make me wonder whats under most picture book cover now.
