Better open it…

American Library Association Annual Conference here I come! This one has the makings of the best ever for the following reasons.

1. It’s close to home. A mere hop and skip around Lake Michigan for me.

2. There will be Nerds. A large contingent of Michigan Nerdy Book Club blog folks will be making the trek – keep your eyes peeled while on the exhibit floor and during the Newbery/Caldecott banquet for people using their hands as maps.

While I never seem to be able to write many blog posts during the conference, I’ll definitely be working the Instagram and Twitter.

Are you coming?

Nope! I had been planning to go while still at my old library, but now that I’ve switched jobs—it’s not going to work out this time. Maybe next time it’s in Chicago. I wish they still had them in Michigan sometimes. We could use the $!
