Link Du Jour: Highest-Paid Authors
Forbes recently posted a list of the highest paid authors in the world. In it you’ll find children’s and YA authors sitting side by side with authors of books for grown-ups. Call me crazy, but I’d contend that a list like this was unthinkable a decade or two ago. The most amazing thing about this article? This quote about Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight:
At one point, Meyer’s “Twilight†series accounted for more than 15 percent of all books sold in the U.S.
