Show Us Your Hold Shelf!

At the end of every month I snap a photo of the hold shelf in one of my school libraries…

…slap it up online, and discuss the results. An example:

To my mind, this is a good way to see which books kids are really digging.

(Cue swelling orchestra)

Now it’s your turn.

My next On Hold @ the Library post goes up Monday, November 29th. Sometime between now and then, take a picture of the holds shelf at your school or public library and send it my way through email (scopenotes@gmail.com) or Twitter (@100scopenotes). If you’re up for it, include your location and the age group your library serves. I’ll post your photos along with mine.

(Cue orchestra rising to crazy levels of emotional impact)

(Cue tears of solidarity welling up in the eyes of every librarian in the country)

Let’s show the world what kids are reading.

(Thanks to @MrSchuReads for the idea)
