There are certain authors and illustrators in the children’s lit world that consistently produce work of such high quality that their reputations precede them. No question, Mark Teague is one such person. He is one of my favorite children’s book illustrators, and his forays into the authorial realm are also first-rate. I’m not a doctor, but if you don’t dig the Dear Mrs. LaRue books, you may need to have your head checked.
