Are You Going to ALA Annual?
On July 9-15, the ALA Annual Conference will plop itself down in my second home of Chicago, and I couldn’t be happier. Well, if I had some actual reason to make that whole “second home” comment, I would be happier – but let’s get to more important things.

Are you going? This will be my first ALA conference, and I’d love to meet up. So consider this a shout out to the children’s lit bloggers out there – comment on this post or email me (scopenotes@gmail.com) if you’re attending, if you have tips for a first-timer, or if you’d like to assemble some sort of gathering.

I probably won’t be going to the whole conference, but my library will send me for at least one day and I’ll probably come back on my own over the weekend. So, yes, I am all about a gathering of the bloggity types!

I live in Madison and travel to Chicago frequently, so I might be available for a blogger meetup.
The conference sounds fun, but out of my price range!
