As many times as I’ve supposedly heard his story and written articles about him myself and saw him in person, I don’t think I’ve ever heard the bit about his parents’ commissioning comics from him before. That just made me want to give his parents the hugest hug. And then I had to show it to my own young ADHDed cartoonist daughter.
