Books on Film: Michelle Obama at ALA Annual

Books On Film Banner

You know how First Lady Michelle Obama was the opening speaker for ALA Annual in New Orleans? You know how if you were there, it was great, but if you weren’t you were bummed?

Bum no more.

The whole (wonderful) conversation between Michelle Obama and Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden is available now for your viewing pleasure.

I was in attendance, but it was fun to watch it again.

(Skip to the 20 minute mark if you want to get right into it)

  2. Ha! I skipped to the 20-minute mark in real life! (My flight was delayed.) I was *so* happy that she started speaking so much after the announced start time! I got to hear the whole thing, only from way in back.
