A quick horizon scan with my brass monocular (little known fact – I captain a pirate ship on weekends) reveals a new book from Newbery-winning author Kate DiCamillo. Here’s what we know:

  • It is fully illustrated.
  • It’s touted as “genre-breaking”.
  • It promises seal blubber.
