Who Will Be Champion of Nontraditional Nonfiction Monday?

In six days (May 24th), 100 Scope Notes will be hosting Nonfiction Monday. Never content to leave well enough alone, we’re turning up the crazy meter and calling it Nontraditional Nonfiction Monday – a chance for children’s lit bloggers to review a book in a different way. Cartoon reviews, video reviews, “in character” reviews – anything different than the norm is just right. Click here to watch the video announcement.
It will also be the premiere of the musical duo Julie and the Scope Notes, as I team up with the blog Hi Miss Julie! for the world’s first book review song. Here’s a hint for the book we’ll be singviewing:

After all the reviews are posted, check back on Tuesday, May 25th to vote for your favorite. At the end of the day, votes will be tabulated and a winner will be crowned. A $25 gift card to the outstanding Schuler Books and Music (which can be used on their website) will be sent to the champ. A winners post will be hastily sent to press.
If you’re in need of some nontraditional review ideas, click here to read my recently updated brainstorm list. I advise throwing a dart at your computer screen and going with whichever nontraditional review format is closest*. And of course, traditional reviews are also welcome.
See you here on Monday.

Yeah, no pressure there. I’m just hoping to overcome all technical difficulties and get SOMETHING posted by Monday. Fine time for Lynn to be in Italy! She’ll be home soon to help with final tweaks.
I appreciate your efforts! Any review that may have “technical difficulties” sounds good to me.
