How can you tell if you’re a nonfiction book that is about to get weeded? You have a cover that looks like this:

“Yes, youngster, yellow and red creatures named “eavers” once roamed ponds and streams. It was glorious. ”

The weeding saga continues at the school libraries where I work. Animals are the focus this time around.

I am pretty sure that I read “You Will Live Under the Sea.” Certainly a classic. You must save “Birds” for me – I love the retro cover. I’m totally not kidding.

I like how You Will Live Under the Sea has “Will” in bigger font. Like, “oh yes, you WILL be living under the sea someday, whether you like it or not.” I’d be happy to save Birds for you – I just have to find it here…

What? No Wonders of Woodchucks? Animal books are hard to pull because the information isn’t dated, but after a while they look this bad and never leave the shelf. Good job at being brave!
